A quick note on affiliates, because transparency matters to me.
I don’t choose affiliates based on who offers the biggest payouts, best discounts, or slickest marketing. In fact, for me it usually works the other way around. I recommend these brands because I already use them, trust them, and would talk about them whether or not an affiliate link existed.
I’m the one who reaches out to them—not the reverse. In many cases, the brands I work with didn’t even have an affiliate program until I asked if one could be created. There’s no contract, no obligation, and no behind-the-scenes influence on what I say or don’t say.
Because of that, I’m not tied to any brand long-term. If practices change, sourcing shifts, quality drops, or values no longer align, I can (and will) remove them from my affiliate lineup without hesitation.
